Introduction
Highlights of Send Finance
What makes Send Finance unique?
1. Secure
Zero-knowledge interoperability without any external trust assumption for interchain token transfer
Send Finance is built on zkProver and zkVerifier for interchain trustless messaging, and thus no other parties which may result in collusion risks join the token transfer processing and its verification. This means that Send Finance is safer than any other solutions which need verification from a third party such as Oracle.
2. Instant
None of the consensus entities in the POS Chain are required during interchain token transfer.
Send Finance uses zkRelayer instead of a middle POS chain for interchain messaging which is somehow delayed for the reason of the consensus requirement by dozens or hundreds of nodes. Send Finance is able to provide a faster token-bridging experience for users.
3. Lower Cost
Data compression during proofs generation so as to reduce the cost to 1/Batch when executing the interchain token transfer
One Bridging charges a one-time fee for almost all of the other solutions. However, Send Finance can process the data compression during the proof generation and bring lower costs for bridging. Proof Aggregation can make the one-time cost of token transfers as low as 1/ Transactions Quantity in One Batch. What is more, zkSpark designed by Way Network is one of the most succinct zero-knowledge proofs. The on-chain verification of proofs generated by zkRelayer just needs a small amount of gas fee.
4. Valididity
Validity comes from trustless messaging
Way Network attempts to be an omnichain protocol to achieve multichain asset and data interoperability to create a highly scalable, trustless, extremely stable, and ideologically pure on-chain money. The Way communication protocol is the preferred method of cross-chain messaging system with guarantees trustless valid delivery without placing any trust in intermediary entities or tokens.
Without the usage of external bridges, Send Finance enables users to instantly shift assets between chains in a matter of minutes. Whether the trade occurs locally on a single chain or across chains, all of Send Finance's trades are completely shielded from slippage and MEV attacks. Users can obtain their possessions at any destination without losing any value, regardless of where they start a deal. It works as below:
zkRelayer is trustworthy as it uses zkSpark to provide a secure environment for users to transfer interchain messages.
The Sender and Receiver contracts are both transparent
zkRelayer is used to prove security and message integrity.
5. Finality
Finality comes from instant guaranteed finality and successful commitment. The main meaning of instantly assured finality is that there must be sufficient liquidity on the destination chain to support the transfer in order for any transfer request submitted on the source chain to be successfully committed on the destination chain as well. A bridge must offer instant guaranteed finality; otherwise, a transaction reversion mechanism will be required, which will have a detrimental impact on the user experience or financial viability of the business.
In response to a user request to transfer assets, Send Finance, for instance, can offer instantly assured finality by minting $SEND tokens on the destination chain. By using Send Finance, the whole end-to-end transfer of the native asset from the source chain to the destination chain is instantly guaranteed to be final, eliminating the need for this intermediary token.
6. Nativity
Nativity comes from native validation and native assets pool.
Native Validation Mode
Send Finance uses Native Validation Mode which is accomplished by running a light client in the virtual machines of the source and destination chains and using a zkRelayer for inter-chain communication.
The characteristic of this mode is that there is no need to operate a chain between the public chains. It can also get rid of the trust assumptions required by LayerZero if using zero-knowledge proofs like Way Network. Native Assets Pool Send Finance facilitates transfers devoid of the usage of intermediary tokens, in contrast to previous cross-chain bridges that issue their own tokens on the destination chain in reaction to the user locking up assets on the source chain. By using native assets directly, Send Finance scales more effectively than existing cross-chain bridges. This is made feasible by a pool of liquidity that is kept up across all chains in the zero-knowledge network. Users "deposit" their assets into the source chain's liquidity pool and "withdraw" the corresponding assets from the destination chain's liquidity pool. At no time during the bridging procedure are any intermediary tokens created; all deposits and withdrawals are made solely using native assets.
